This distiller-led tour begins with a lesson on the history of gin, then takes a huge leap into the production process. You’ll meet the still, Persephone, and learn all about how Winchester Gin is made and flavoured.
The second half of the session is a guided tasting through the vast Winchester Distillery range. You’ll be taught all about the different styles of gin, too, and come away as something of a walking encyclopaedia on the topic.
A few thoughts from Gin Foundry:
It should probably be noted that their operations also preclude children on site so only over 18’s are able to attend (so no strays even if held firmly by a responsible adult). It’s a little tough to get there due to the rural location so our advice would be to please leave in good time to find them!
