Nose: Juniper forward with floral hints developing around it on the nose, alongside a more earthy feel. Dried hibiscus petals, cinnamon & citrus transform it.

Taste: A rather unique gin that is exquisitely floral. Still has that juniper bite but elderberry & hibiscus titillating behind. Elderberry is so jammy, like having a spoonful out of the jar whilst also having gin. This would make a great twist on a Breakfast Martini.

Day 1

Ginvent // Gin Mare Gin

Nose: Herbs are consistent and strong. The juniper hits before you start to notice the olives, basil and thyme.

Taste: First taste remains savoury with herbs & juniper prominent before opening up to reveal subtle citrus. Olives are coming through too, but not upfront. Juniper is almost waxy, really aromatic.

Nose: A fresh piney juniper nose with touches of spiced (peppery) coriander & fennel, hinting at what’s to come!

Taste: Organic red winter wheat deepens the flavours of the 3 botanicals that include wild juniper, organic coriander & fennel seeds. The higher than average ABV of 47% in Death’s Door doesn’t come through other than in the botanical intensity. Smooth.  A good swirl around & juniper can be tasted first, fennel booms behind and then throughout. Coriander bite to finish.
